Good luck to TV personality Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi as they vacation in Kenya and Tanzania, which both have laws against same-sex intimacy.

For two years, Tanzania has been arresting LGBT citizens and LGBT rights advocacy groups, jeopardizing anti-AIDS efforts.
But even Tanzania’s most homophobic police probably won’t arrest two celebrity American tourists though they are among the world’s most prominent lesbian couples.
